Hinge

Good enough is great

Dating apps make it easy to meet people and even easier to think someone better is just a swipe away. But the perfect partner doesn’t exist. Once you realize a good enough partner is great, you can start your relationship and get off Hinge already.

Teaser campaign

The unsettling, almost perfect circles appear on billboards with only the word “Hinge” in the weeks leading up to the campaign. Just like the beginning of a relationship, you won’t be able to see the whole picture until you’ve given it more time.

Social series: “Breaking dealbreakers”

Users nominate their notoriously picky friends to appear in a social series called “Breaking dealbreakers”, where they go on a date with someone they’d normally swipe right past. Dates are filmed and posted to each picky person’s social accounts, with Hinge tagged.

New feature: “Good enough” mode

Once you run out of free likes, Hinge now switches to “Good enough” mode. Get ready to see matches who are one year older, one inch shorter, or one zodiac sign away from the dealbreakers you’ve set up in the app.

The good enough of the bunch

Fruit almost always has a small spot or blemish, but we pick the one we like anyway. So just pick one, because a good peach or banana is better (and juicier) than none at all 🍑🍌👀.

Goodle’nough is great

Mac n’ cheese is both good enough and great, so we collab with Goodles to make imperfect circle noodles, with a QR code on the box to download Hinge, so you can find the cheese to your noodle.
